Thai Tanic & -18 degrees F Tea House: A Flavorful Thai & Bubble Tea Experience in Sterling Heights

An amazing restaurant and a must try for all the Thai lovers in Shelby area. Dinner portion are big compared to all the nearby thai places. Wasn’t able to try the ice teas, maybe for next time!

Very good thai food. Be warned that it can be pretty spicy compared to others, not a bad thing. One of my favorites in the area.

Very nice boutique Thai restaurant. The staff are awesome. Very polite and friendly. The food is served fast and spice levels are perfect to taste. Prices are reasonable. They have very limited capacity to dine in. More of a take out joint. Worth trying this place if you are up for some authentic Thai food. Would definitely try it again.

The portions are generous, hot, and fresh. I love the Panang Curry, Massaman Curry, Curry Noodles and Bangkok Chicken. I’m always torn between trying a different dish or reordering a past favorite. Can’t go wrong.

A very small and neatly maintained place with all the necessary precautions. The waitress was very courteous and sweet. The food was delicious and everything tasted really well. We happened to be in the area and dropped by looking at the reviews. We were not disappointed it’s a great place to dine. Lot of options for vegetarians like any other Thai place . Their beverage menu is good too but we didn’t try it.

I just picked up a carrot for the first time after reading rave reviews, it didn’t disappoint. My expectations were met if not exceeded! I ordered the crab ragoon which were perfectly crispy, giant in size, and filled with a lot of the filling, and the dipping sauce was delicious and complimented so well. The Pad Thai I ordered a lunch portion and it was huge! I decided on chicken and a medium + spice level. The flavor and the spice were absolutely perfect and there was a good amount of peanut topping. Happy to say I just found my new favorite Thai spot, thank you Thai Tanic for the great food and being so friendly and providing great service with affordable prices!

This is hands down my favorite restaurant, I order from here several times a week sometimes. The food is priced extremely well, especially since one dish lasts me at least two days with how big the portions are. Everything is always hot despite the fact that I always order for delivery. I love this place. Definitely get the crab rangoons, they’re huge and the plum sauce is amazing, but every dish I’ve had from Thai Tanic exceeds my expectations. I wish I could give them ten stars.

Friendly and sociable service. Water was brought to the table with the menu. A society norm that has been fading fast. Nice touch! Appetizer served hot and crispy as wings should be. The Bangkok Street noodles absolutely delicious, flavorful, spicy and served hot. They use fresh chilies. Highly recommend this small little restaurant. Carry out as well ;)
